I am a 33 year old mother of 2. I am married to the love of my life, Shawn. Our Son, Liam is 7 years old and this past June we traveled to Rwanda to bring home our 3 year old son, Ezra. This adoption was a 3 year step, leap, journey of faith.

We were supposed to hear news “early this week at the latest” with regards to how we’ll be allowed to progress with this adoption.I guess Friday still is pretty early in the week.
On a more positive note, my muffins turned out nicely... I had to chisel the lemon loaf out of the pans … but the muffins are good.

Thanks Hollie :) When they told us that we would hear this week I was relieved that we would actually have an answer. Good or bad I would like to know what direction we're allowed to go so that we can start moving. After 3 years of missed due dates, I shouldn't have expected this to be any different. Our little guy turns 3 this month... I think his looming birthday is one of the things that is making this difficult (one of the many things). Take care Hollie--I very much appreciate your encouragement:)
I'm so sorry you have been in limbo for so long. I will pray that you get approval from your government soon and can go get your sweet boy. I can't imagine after how hard the adoption has been so far to hit yet another bump in the road when you are so close. Hopefully next week we will all hear something good!!!
